Kathryn joined Silver Lane's Advisory Board in 2007. She has over 25 years experience advising wealthy families and managing family offices and other entities. Currently, she is a consultant to substantial families and family offices. Kathryn is also a Director of the Rockefeller Trust Company and serves on its Audit and Trust Committees. Kathryn is on the Board of Directors of a family office and acts as a strategic advisor to several family groups.

Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Kathryn was a Managing Director of Rockefeller & Co., Inc., a member of the Management Committee and the Director of Client Advisory Services. Prior to that, she was the founding President of Marujupu, LLC, the multigenerational family office of the Sulzberger Family (The New York Times Company). She was also a member of the Board of Directors, the Investment Committee and the Manager of the Sulzberger Foundation.

Prior to working with families and family offices, Kathryn was the President and co-founder of a wealth advisory firm in New York City and began her professional career in the personal financial planning division of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. and Alliance Capital Management Corp.

Kathryn holds a B.A. from Rosemont College and earned her M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration. She completed her education at New York Law School where she received her J.D. with honors.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of SEI Investments and serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees. She is involved in several not-for-profit activities, and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Trusts & Estates. Kathryn is a frequent lecturer on topics relating to Family Education and the Management and Governance of Family Offices.
